What is tithing?

Tithing is giving 10% of your income to the church and is actually a commandment from God. When we don't tithe, God actually tells us we are cursed with a curse. However, when we do tithe, He promises He will open the windows of Heaven and pour out a blessing on you that you will not be able to contain! (Malachi 3:8-10)

What is offering?

Giving an offering is different from the tithe. An offering comes from the other 90% of your income and is simply a way of saying "Thank you, Lord, for all your blessings!" This amount can be as much as you'd like to give!
